This article describes how to submit and run payroll for all employees over a specific pay period. You can also run payroll for one or more specific employees.
Hourly payroll includes all paychecks and tax payments, as well as any applicable workers compensation premiums. We also file federal and state payroll tax returns on a quarterly and annual basis.
Click Payroll along the left, and choose the pay period that is due.
All hourly employees who worked shifts during the pay period, or who receive salaries, are listed. The total payroll liability is listed at the top. To proceed with payroll, click the Pay button.
For non-direct deposit employees, delivery options include free print-at-home, in which team members get a printable PDF, or FedEx physical delivery. If you choose delivery, choose the delivery address as well. The shipping cost will be updated in the summary above.
Choose the bank account from which the payroll will be taken, and confirm or set the pay date.
Click Run Payroll, and confirm. The summary appears at the top of the Payroll page, and the status for that pay period updates from Due to Submitted.
As long as the payroll status is Submitted, and not yet Paid, you can still make changes. Click Undo Payment and confirm, make the changes, and click Pay when ready to submit.
You can also process payroll off-cycle, as often as needed, for the most recent closed pay period.
