There are several ways to manually edit employee shifts.

Note: You can also manually create shifts.

To clock in an employee, start in Overview and click Employees off the clock

Find or search for the employee, click their three-dot icon, and choose Clock In.

Choose the job location and task, and adjust the shift start time, if needed. Then click Clock In, and the employee will be included in the list of Employees on the clock

Clocking out an employee works the same way. Start in Overview and click Employees on the clock

undefined

Click the employee you want to clock out. Their current shift count will be displayed. You can adjust the shift start time if needed, then click End Shift

undefined

If needed, you can edit the location and task, approve the shift, and add a comment or change the overtime properties. You can also delete the shift. Click Save, and the employee is no longer clocked in.

Another way to edit a shift is to click Shifts along the left and click the employee. Click the shift to edit, make the changes, and save.

Finally, you can also edit a shift by starting in Payroll, and selecting the correct pay period. Click the employee and choose View Shifts, find the shift to edit, and make the changes.
