Users with Supervisor or Manager roles can see cost breakdowns for all their jobs, based on task, employee, and pay period. Each job is listed on the Overview page, and can also be found on the Locations page.
To see cost breakdowns, click Labor Cost along the left. The Labor Cost window displays all active job locations along the left, each with total project budget and budget spent. Projects under budget have a circle graph in green showing percent spent. Projects over budget have a red circle graph and percent over.
By default, breakdowns are shown for all pay periods and active job locations. But you can show inactive job locations, or specify a specific time period.
Click the job location whose breakdowns you want to see.
The Tasks tab lists all job tasks with their hours and costs. At the top are total hours worked, total cost, and a breakdown of regular, overtime, and drive time hours. These values appear at the top of each tab on the Labor Cost page.
The circle graph on each tab presents a color-coded breakdown. In the Tasks tab, each color represents a different task, with the colors listed for each task in the table below.
The Tasks table breaks down the total cost by each task assigned to this location. All tables in all tabs can be sorted by any column header. Tasks themselves are configured on the Tasks page.
Clicking a task opens a window that lists hours spent on that task and cost per pay period.
The Employees tab lists all employees who have clocked hours at the location, with their hours spent and cost. Clicking an employee opens a window that lists that employee’s hours and cost per pay period.
The last tab is Periods, listing pay periods by hours clocked, and their costs. Clicking a pay period opens a new window showing that pay period’s tasks and employees based onfor the job location. Total hours and cost for the pay period are listed at the top.
While viewing a pay period breakdown, you can switch locations to view different pay period breakdowns.
